Clean on
Now it’s time to clean all of the seam welding out. You will see this rubbery glue running along all the seams of the interior and exterior of the sheet metal in the car. I tried many methods of removal in hopes of finding a nice quick one. It seemed best to use a fresh wire wheel on inside the car. As for the underside of the car I never figured out anything that seemed spot on- Tried a torch and scraper but it made my loopy really quick. Then onto the bottle of stripper- It helped but wasn’t a vast difference. So I ended up doing what I could with the wire wheel and blowing out all the welds from contaminations. But there are a few good ones so eh…
